Care in the details.
Good information helps you choose confidently, from the format of a seed to the label on its bag.
Understand the preparation
Our manufacturer describes dry roasting, ingredient inspection and in-house packaging as parts of its process. Dry roasting develops flavor without frying seeds in oil. Seasonings and other ingredients still vary between products.
Read the manufacturer’s production overview for its account of sourcing, roasting, packing and X-ray inspection before boxing.
Read the exact product label
Start with the ingredients and allergen statement for your particular flavor. Nuts, seeds, dried fruit and sweet drops are different foods; one collection-wide description cannot replace the information on the bag.
Compare equal serving weights when reviewing nutrition. Words such as “lightly salted” do not replace the sodium number if that is what you need to compare.
Certification: check the mark and scope
Kosher certification applies to specified products and conditions. Check the symbol on the package and the applicable issuer record, including its validity period. A kosher mark is not an organic, allergen-free or low-sodium claim.
View the STAR-K product record for Mixed Nuts Inc. (valid through September 30, 2026) and confirm that your product and package mark match the record that applies to your purchase.
For a current certificate or a specific product question, contact the manufacturer with the product name and lot code. Find the published manufacturer contact details.
Look after the opened bag
Check the seal before opening. Pour a portion, close the bag after serving and follow its storage directions. Keep the original label and lot information when transferring food to a container.
